This project required and included the installation of stream bank stabilization, we performed site excavation, geo textile fabric installation, and rip-rap stone placement. We formed and placed a 285 linear feet, 16” thick concrete wall that is 16” in height.

Water Main Extensions C. Jessie Road and Jr. Caffee Road

Edmonton, KY

This project required installing approximately 10,000 linear feet of 3” PVC waterline with all essential appurtenances such as fire hydrant, pressure reducers, and gate valves. All disturbed areas were restored with native grasses and plants.

 

Cheatham Dam – Water Line Replacement

Ashland City, TN

This project, constructed for the USACE – Nashville District, included replacing approximately 7,400 linear feet of 6” potable water piping. DME, Inc. coordinated with multiple Federal, State, and local entities (including Historical and Archeological) and installed all piping and associated appurtenances such as a fire hydrant, pressure reducers, and gate valves. All disturbed areas were restored with native grasses and plants.

 

Chiller Replacements Buildings 7131 and 7133

Fort Campbell, KY

This project, accomplished for MICC / DPW, included the demolition and removal of the existing chillers and CHW pumps, power, and controls at each building. New work included augmenting existing equipment pads, installing new chillers and CHW pumps with appropriately sized power requirements and reinstallation of existing controls.

 

Building 7195 Warehouse Fans

Fort Campbell, KY

This project, completed for MICC / DPW, included providing and installing all required controls and electrical wiring to install a new 42 circuit 200 amp subpanel fed from main power distribution panel to support our installation of four (4) HVLS BAF (BIG ASS FAN) ceiling fan (16’ blades), model Powerfoil X2.0 with optional POWERFOIL X LED light being integrated with existing lighting controls in the building.

 

Replace Heaters Building 6535

Fort Campbell, KY

This project, completed for MICC / DPW, removed outdated and inoperable heaters by installing new heaters, power heads and control boxes on all 26 radiant tube heaters. We selected and installed new tube heater power heads that met and integrated with the remaining existing components, removed all reflectors attached to the radiant pipes, cleaned and then reinstalled for each. All existing and new gas piping was pressure tested on the 26 tube heater system prior to and subsequent to start up and turnover.

 

P288 Wastewater Facility

NAS Kingsville, TX

This project, completed for NAVFAC Southeast, included construction of a new lift station, renovation of the existing wastewater facility structures, new primary normal power, relocation and upgrade of the existing emergency power generator and fuel tank, new ATS and interior electrical distribution system. The installation of the approximately 14,000 LF of new 8” HDPE underground sanitary force main included 9 Air Release Vaults and a 750’ directional bore under a creek and protected wetlands to connect the NAS Kingsville sanitary sewer system to the City of Kingsville Sanitary Sewer System.

 

Replace AC Building 7170

Fort Campbell, KY

This completed work for MICC / DPW that included removing and replacing existing condensing unit, piping, controls, power, air handling unit and concrete pads as well as the recovery and disposal of all R-22 refrigerant and remediation of all ACM in affected areas of the mechanical room. New work included the installation of new packaged AC equipment, new power, new controls, for the facility and new gas fired unit heaters in the mechanical room.

 

Install Dehumidifiers at Buildings 07239, 07244, 07272 and 07274

This completed project for MICC / DPW included installing and upgrading all necessary primary electrical power devices and distribution systems to and in each building in the SOF area of the post. This included 300 KV transformers, panel boards, subpanels, conduit, wiring, concrete pad, concrete duct bank, saw cut and excavation and all ancillary electrical equipment for the dehumidifiers.

 

Design / Build PEB for DOL Ammunition Administration Building

This 100% Design/Build in-progress project for MICC / DPW is providing a new fully functional Pre-Engineered Metal Building Ammo Administrative Facility. The PEB will consist of approximately 5,100 S.F, and occupy 11-20 people. The project includes all aspects of converting greenfield area to a fully functional facility from site preparation, site utilities (water, gas, electric, communications) to final building construction, with high efficiency HVAC and electrical design and devices, parking lot, site restoration and landscaping. Specific building attributes include exterior windows and doors being blast resistant with blast mitigating glass, communications including all cable trays, voice/data outlets, wiring, and communication room equipment devices, fire alarm and mass notification systems including all devices, interior and exterior.

Design/Build Replace 69kv Utility Pole With Free-Standing Steel Pole

This project, in-progress for MICC / DPW, is for design of a free-standing (cantilevered, guy-less) steel utility pole to replace an existing utility pole. The design will include a complete concrete pier system to support the pole and re-use as much of the equipment currently attached to the exiting utility pole as possible. The design will replace the existing 12.47kV underbuild and allow room for two more potential 12.47kV underbuilds.

 

Replace 2 Chillers Building 7269

Fort Campbell, KY

This project for MICC / DPW was for removal of two air condition chillers, model # CGAFC604AHA, located on the west side of building 7269 and their associated chilled water pumps.  All refrigerant was recovered from existing refrigerant system prior to movement. The recovered refrigerant will be taken to the Fort Campbell Kentucky Recycle Center for recycling. The removed chillers were replaced with two new Air-Cooled Scroll chillers. The work effort also required construction of a new concrete pad on top of the existing concrete pad.  All electrical connections were provided to install the chillers. The two existing pump assemblies were savaged that were associated with the chillers. A 2700 Self-regulating heating cable manufactured by Heat Trace Products, LLC was installed on all chilled water lines, chilled water valves, and chilled water buffer tank exposed to the atmosphere, from the chiller to the mechanical room.

 

Repair Roofs on 700 Block

This project for MICC / DPW was for the application of a liquid applied rubberized membrane with KEVLAR aramid fibers for restoration of asphalt or modified membrane surfaces.  The building was occupied below the work area. Before working over structurally-impaired areas of deck, it was verified that occupants below the work area were evacuated prior to proceeding with work over the impaired deck area. All defects such as deteriorated roof decks, saturated insulation board, etc. were repaired or replaced.  The building was protected, its adjacent buildings, walkways, site improvements, exterior plantings, and landscaping from damage or soiling from coating operations.

 

Remediate Mold / Paint Rooms in Building 7096

Fort Campbell, KY

This project for MICC / DPW was to remediate mold in 22 rooms by removing and replacing all drywall on the exterior walls that have windows, including the chase way. Half of the rooms were available upon issuance of notice to proceed; the other half were available after the first set was finished. DME remediated any other mold located in any of the rooms with “Shockwave - Disinfectant, Sanitizer, Cleaner” for mold and applied Kilz over areas affected with mold. All rooms were painted, including bathrooms, with two coats of Rustoleum’s Zinsser Perma-White Mold and Mildew proof interior paint. All the rust on the covers on the covers for fan coils were sanded / removed, primed with one coat, and painted with two coats of paint using Rustoleum 7400 system in four rooms.

 

Replace Windows Building 865

Fort Campbell, KY

This project for MICC / DPW was to replace 39 existing windows and cut in two additional with new double-hung operable white vinyl windows with full screens.  The windows were a minimum of double pane and low E rated with a U-value of less than 0.3.  New alabaster color Dura Mini Blinds were also installed.

 

Replace HVAC in Server Room

Fort Campbell, KY

This project for MICC / DPW was to replace the HVAC in a server room of bldg. 6101.  Wwo new, 8-ton CRAC units (one to serve as a main and one as a redundant) inside the server room were installed.  The units were both Data Aire Inc., gForce GT, 28 KW, DX Upflow (Air Cooled), with condensing unit.  New wired thermostats were installed on the wall directly next to each associated CRAC unit to allow the user to easily determine which thermostat goes to which unit.  DME field routed/modified all new refrigerant lines, copper water lines, electrical lines, and any other necessary lines/tubing through the existing holes below to the mechanical room.  Two new, 7-ton condensers to support the new CRAC units were installed.  The existing concrete pads were modified as necessary to facilitate placement of the new condensers.
